Salary : Between £45,000-£70,000 + generous uncapped bonus’s ( average in year one is around £50,000, making total comp in year one circa £100k+)

This is a well-funded fintech start-up business that is just establishing itself in the UK . They are looking for someone who is highly entrepreneurial to join the small-but-growing team to work in Financial sales. You will be taking on two junior Associates to support you as your business portfolio develops, so excellent management skills are essential for this role as well as top-notch financial sales experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a brokerage trading business on the “ground floor “and to join a highly successful group of entrepreneurs who have big ambitions and track records that support success. This is the fast-moving area of Derivatives, Futures and Equities trading.
Duties
Working within the OTC markets you will have the opportunity to stamp your way of working onto the business culture :
- Establish your personal realistic sales targets and targets for your team
- Create sales processes and best-in-class client service levels and transmit this to your team
- Research the competition , people and products
- Create a business sales pipeline of international investors with £50k+ to trade
- Manage a portfolio of 20-30 clients
- Liaise with private or corporate clients via phone, email and also in person
- Pitch for business
- Train and then mentor junior Associates in order to support you and mentor their careers
- Link up with a Broker network and other money managers in order to establish solid referral systems
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Financial Sales experience
- English to native standard ( additional languages such as Arabic or Chinese are helpful)
- Ideally qualifications such as IAD ( Investment Advice Diploma) , CFA, PMP or IOC
