This is a specialist role for a talented ANALYST who is looking to build on their specialist VAT skills. The company is expanding fast and is looking for someone to start immediately with a view to potentially joining the company permanently. You will; work in a totally multinational and multilingual team. This is initially a contract role to deal with a specific head-count project. Duties
Working in a specialist VAT EMEA team you will undertake:
- Analysis of VAT across various jurisdictions and analyse VAT processes
- Liaising with other tax specialists
- Providing support to internal and external audit teams
- Overseeing Compliance-related responsibilities
- Prepare, review and submit European VAT returns and related filings such as EC Sales Listings;
- Prepare, review and submit Intrastat returns as necessary;
- Prepare and submit ESL /ESPL, SAF_T returns as necessary
- Preparation and review of month-end account reconciliations
- General data analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced Excel
- VAT Compliance experience
- CIMA ,ACCA, ACA, AAT or similar qualifications
- Used to working across European jurisdictions
