Fabulous logistics role! You will be working for an international restaurant and food retailer and managing all relationships with your distribution network including hauliers, freight forwarders . Title: Logistics Supplier/Network optimisation
Location : Bucks
Languages needed: Fluent English ( additional languages are always helpful)
Work style: Hybrid ( 2 days in the office)
Salary : £80,000-£85,000 total comp (this includes cash bonus of 10%,and cash car allowance)
* Salary c £69,700
* 10% bonus (Bonus scheme is annual and runs June-July. You will be included in next year’s bonus if you join after April 2023)
* £7,750 car allowance

The role: This is a key account/relationship management role in which you will overseeing inbound service providers (including hauliers, freight forwarders and redistributors) to ensure contractual service level obligations are met.
Duties
- Building relationships with inbound freight providers
- Managing route-to-market design for hauliers and freight forwarders, across all European markets
- Review routes suggesting efficiencies
- Optimise supply chain network performance.
- Work with the redistributor and inbound freight providers throughout the contract lifecycle to manage the flow and level of inbound stock
- Look at ways of improving operational efficiencies and service whilst driving down costs or limiting cost increases
- Conducting regular tenders and ad-hoc price requests of freight providers to ensure best value and service
- Performing monthly reviews of the redistributor’s financial performance
- Manage, coach and mentor an Inbound Performance Manager
Requirements
Extensive supply chain / distribution experience
- Experience in managing distribution supply chain in Europe
- Experience in managing 3PL and transport providers
- Highly numerate
- The ability to use transport modelling software would be helpful
- Bid Management experience
