Senior Technical Programme Manager
Pay rate: £300 to £400 per day (PAYE – Inside IR35)
Contract: 9 months (May extend)

Location: Hybrid working (3 days in office/2 from home)

Our client is a global video streaming on-demand video provide. They are looking for a bright, analytical, driven, and creative candidate to join their European Process Review Marketing Analytics team as the Senior Technical Program Manager for Robotic Process Automation. In this role, you will drive vision and strategy for enterprise automation to continuously improve and increase adoption and expansion of the program. You will work directly with various internal business units, technology teams, and vendors to identify, conceptualise and communicate transformational automation opportunities. Collaborating with requestors, you will define SOP, automation strategy and work with offshore development team to get the automation developed, deployed, and maintained. You will have an agile mindset and an adaptable approach to delivery and problem-solving. You will have previous experience in process automation within large organisations and have implemented continuous process improvements in fast-paced environments.
The ideal candidate will enjoy defining new processes, successfully and consistently deliver results, and working cross-functionally to drive automation and scale. At the same time, they are not afraid to roll up their sleeves to simply get the job done. You should be highly proficient in UIPath, have strong attention to detail and polished communication skills, and ideally from a program management or digital media operations background.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business process review meetings/workshops to generate awareness of RPA capabilities, documenting current process pain points and identifying opportunities for automation
- Manage identification and prioritisation of use cases, sustaining a healthy opportunity pipeline
- Establish milestones and monitor progress of plans and schedules, identify delivery risks, and drive mitigation strategies and solutions
- Mentor/advise colleagues through the automation software lifecycle, providing advice and guidance on best practice and development techniques
- Work with the offshore team to prioritise development tasks, build and manage automated bots
- Serve as a liaison between the technical and functional teams
- Promote and drive adoption of emerging automation technologies across the enterprise
- Participate in the Centre of Excellence (CoE) Define, Design and Configure project phases to ensure adherence to governance objectives
- Support the successful implementation of the solution
- Ensure that post implementation benefit realisation is captured and reported in accordance with CoE requirements
Requirements
- Experience managing multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously to tight deadlines
- Demonstrated experience liaising with stakeholders to elicit requirements
- Exceptional leadership, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated understanding of common business practices and process management
- Understanding of change management best practices
- Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering iterative enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field-or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of project or program management experience within Robotic Process Automation
- Demonstrated project management skills and familiarity with Agile and scrum philosophies and techniques
- Experience with an automation software platform – UIPath (Highly desirable)
