Title: Language Annotator (English Language)

Pay: £90-£145 Per Day + Holiday pay (Equivalent to £25,000 to £35,000 per annum)

Duration: 3 months Contract (May extend) – Part time with a minimum of 20 hrs is considered, but preference for full time

Start: 06/04/2023 or 10/04/2023

Location: Remote in UK

This is a very exciting opportunity to work with a global tech company. Our client is looking for a Language Analyst to undertake the task of generating and labelling speech and text data, to assess and improve their popular virtual assistant platform’s performance in everyday situations.

Job Responsibilities

· Deliver and generate high-quality annotated data, using guidelines provided, to meet our KPIs, and using in-house tools and software.

· Report issues with tools and software as and when they occur.

· Maintain strict confidentiality and follow all applicable their policies for handling confidential information.

Essential Requirements

· School education with high achievements in English or university degree in a related field in linguistics or marketing

· Proficiency in English grammar and spelling (both written and verbal – ideally to mother tongue standard)

· Experience should be in linguistics – marketing, content, translation, journalism

* Strong computer skills, including MS Office, with good typing speed (> 40 wpm and >90% accuracy) and basic troubleshooting abilities
