Role: Legal Secretary/Executive Assistant
Pay rate: £14 to £17 per hour + Holiday pay

Note: Experience in supporting executives within the legal sector is essential for this role.
Our client is a leading reputation consultancy and legal firm. They are looking for an executive legal secretary to join their business on a temporary assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting senior legal professionals at partner level, and be highly organised, efficient, presentable, with excellent communication skills.
The client is looking to hire for this role as soon as possible, so applicants should either be available immediately or have a short notice period.
Responsibilities
- As a Personal Assistant, you will manage the diaries of the Partners you are assigned to. This will include proactively following up with contacts to arrange meetings; prepare briefing packs; managing travel and accommodation for overseas trips.
- You will work closely with the Business Development Manager and providing administration support to business development initiatives, events and marketing campaigns.
- You will also provide administrative support to Partners and Directors in different teams.
- Hold weekly meetings with the Partners that you support to keep them updated on progress and key deliverables.
- You will be required to take detailed notes and update business development activity into the CRM system This role requires someone who is detail orientated and can understand their Partners’ and their respective teams’ goals and use their initiative to support the delivery of the shared objectives of the team.
Requirements
- One to three years’ experience within a legal support role such as: Legal Secretary, Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant
- Strong IT skills, particularly using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential.
- Candidates with experience of using case management and client relationship management systems (CRM) will be at an advantage.
- You should feel confident communicating on the phone, in person, as well as by email with high profile individuals.
- Manage diaries including setting up meetings, resolving clashes and taking charge in a proactive way
- Assisting with preparation for meetings including travel arrangements, preparing papers and agendas.
- Overseeing the creation of mandates, client packs and other documents, including their formatting, printing, binding and distribution
