Working hours: 9am – 5.30pm (Mon – Fri)
The company: American designer, manufacturer and marketer of high-end equipment. This company supplies tools to heavy industry such as automotive, marine, and aviation. They “think outside the box” to invent new ways to make equipment better and more efficient and the office environment is therefore quite creative and has an innovative “feel”. You will get full training on all the products that you will be dealing with in order to provide the best-in-class in terms of support to client.
You will need to be able to deliver outstanding technical support to clients through email and telephone support.
The role
- Deliver technical support to client and identify and resolve problems with PC /Laptop hardware/ software and associated equipment.
- Resolve queries from customers, suppliers and installers liaising with other team members as necessary.
- Provide technical information as required.
- Perform troubleshooting using decision tree to determine which piece of equipment is faulty and escalate the problem to the appropriate supplier.
- Arrange and manage delivery of the loan equipment.
- Act as a liaison between the customers and the equipment suppliers.
- Chase customers for the return of loan equipment.
Key Skills
- Fluent in English and French
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a Tier 1 support role
- Experience with problem solving using diagnostic trees
- Confident in IT systems – Microsoft Office packages and experience using CRM.
