Hours: 35 hours weekly covering shifts between 8am-7pm Monday-Friday
The Company
International hotel group that is looking for the best-and-brightest in customer care to join its team. This is a truly bilingual role and you will be joining an international guest services and front-of-house team. This role would suit a German speaking graduate trainee with a degree in Travel & Hospitality, or someone with some experience in guest services or at reception gained in the hotel sector.
Duties
This is a head office based role:
*Making guests feel at ease and ensuring their experience at the hotel runs smoothly
*This is a primarily Guest Services role with reservations and front-office admin
*Liaising with international visitors, taking their details at check-in and making sure that their holiday starts the instant they meet you
*Taking inbound guest enquiries both over the ‘phone and also via email
*Booking rooms, taking passport and credit card details and explaining what there is to do in London
*Complaint management and trying to ensure that all guests have a positive experience at the hotel. Explaining the cancellation policy.
*Actively introducing information about current in-house events and future promotions and deals
*Acting as an informal ” concierge” and booking theatre tickets, restaurants and tours
*You will be dealing with corporate and also personal guests
REQUIREMENTS
*Fluent German & English
*Previous Hotel experience is essential
