You will be working for one of the best-known high-end fashion businesses with a clientele that is selective and HNW or UHNW. In this rarefied retail “space” you will be tasked with creating and then implementing a retail sales strategy and will liaise with all the other teams across the business. DUTIES
The role in a nutshell: You will be exploring and implementing ways to maximise the profitability of retail operations in Italy.

• Develop a retail strategy that supports the business in a measurable way.
• Track the performance of the retail business and evolve key priorities in line with performance.
• Fully accountable for trading margin budget
• Develop a clear luxury merchandising strategy
• Identify growth and new business investment opportunities
• Attend monthly financial reviews
• Present monthly results against targets
• Ensure that an EPOS strategy is introduced to improve visibility of performance
• Drive optimal trading margin through detailed analysis of category performance on a unit by unit basis.
• Oversee and build sales, budgets, projections costs and overhead.
• Providing leadership and guidance to management teams in order to ensure that each store or department functions efficiently

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent English
• Experienced within luxury goods
• Experience as a Retail Director
• Happy to be based in Milan, Italy
