Language Required: Fluent Portuguese

Location: Amsterdam (2 days in office/3 days remote)

Working Hours: 9am – 5.30pm

Salary: €30,500 + bonus + company benefits

The Role:

As a valuable member of the claims team, you will be the primary contact and service provider for our clients and their customers. Delivering exceptional operational services is key, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Your expertise will be vital in evaluating and resolving claims within authorized limits, aiming to provide customers with exceptional claims service.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Answer customer service queries and record insurance information
• Maintain effective relationships with Lessors, Insurance Brokers/Companies, and Suppliers, delivering excellent customer service
• Handle correspondence within agreed timeframes, meeting client’s insurance criteria
• Address complaints according to our complaints handling policy
• Liaise with senior management team regarding any issues

Claims:

• Obtain appropriate statements based on value and type of loss
• Investigate and gather necessary documentation/evidence for verification
• Estimate loss or damage amounts, revising reserves as needed during investigation
• Proactively follow up on outstanding information/documents according to standards
• Immediately notify insurers of claims with questionable coverage for evaluation
• Engage outside adjuster for claims exceeding authority
• Prepare and issue payments

Key Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in customer support/claims role
• Fluent in Portuguese
• Must have the right to work, as no sponsorship is provided by the company
