This is a newly created role in which you will be working with distribution partner BIDFOOD to manage and measure their DC performance . The role is a mix of analysis and also relationship management as you will be in constant close touch with the warehouses across the UK to ensure that clients receive stock on time and in budget. UK Salary : Total comp: circa £68,000– ( comprised of base of £55000+ car allowance of £7750 and 10% bonus as well as other excellent benefits)

Your role here will be to manage the overall performance of various distribution centres, including the planning, organising, and operations of DCs. Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing reporting solutions to monitor DC performance
The role
-Identifying and leading continuous improvement programs at distribution centres run by Bidfood, ( 19 distribution centres based in the UK)
-Supporting Distribution Managers with performance monitoring for distribution centre functions, (including order processing, picking, packaging, shipping, and receiving inventory levels, to ensure orders met)
-Implementing key DC management tools including scorecards, performance surveys, databases, KPIs, trend analysis, reporting, dashboards, and other visual analytics
-Meeting targets on productivity/cost savings/ performance against inflation
-working to agreed timetables
Requirements
- Experience in a management role in logistics, warehousing, or distribution
- Experience with financial analysis, modelling, and business planning
- Experience in performance management across multiple DC’s ( essential)
