You will join a large-scale International E-Commerce business that is scaling up fast and is looking for an ambitious and talented SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL to help with their planned expansion. The company is already well established in the USA and is planning to conquer Europe.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of legal professionals to provide expert counsel in one or multiple significant legal domains such as intellectual property, consumer law, trade regulations, privacy, employment, and corporate matters.
2. Design effective legal strategies to support and safeguard business operations efficiently.
3. Identify, research, and evaluate alternative risk factors pertaining to business decisions and overall company activities.
4. Implement proactive risk management measures and offer valuable advice on potential legal issues.
5. Carry out all responsibilities with unwavering integrity and a strong sense of accountability.

Preferred Experience:

1. 7+ years of extensive legal practice or in-house experience .
2. 3+ years of hands-on experience dealing with regulatory compliance matters in online marketplaces, online retail, or online payment sectors.
3. Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to legal challenges.
4. Ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of productivity.
