HONG KONG: Retail Real Estate Director

This is a senior level role based in HONG KONG for a Retail Real Estate Director within the high end Jewellery/luxury sector , In this role you will direct the global expansion of this brand in terms of finding store locations and then engaging with architects , designers and engineers in order to create stores with a HNW shopper experience at its heart . This is an exciting opportunity to work within the most refined of retail experiences with a well-known niche brand that is looking to increase its retail property portfolio in HK .

Salary : Base salary of Eu130,000 + benefits

The role in a nutshell: Creating beautiful spaces based on identifying the best retail spaces catering to HNW and UHNW shoppers looking for a luxurious experience and well designed space

Duties

• Oversee the network development of retail outlets and popup locations around Hong Kong
• Source new locations
• Direct the cross functional processes with real estate, legal, store planning and other departments
• Manage store openings, renewals, and refurbishments
• Conduct all letter of intent and lease negotiations
• Manage the internal and external communication
• Maintain and build relationships with landlords, developers, brokers, and other retailers to ensure that your client is made aware of relevant real estate opportunities in existing and new markets
• Manage direct reports
• Renegotiate rents where appropriate
• Support the brand with tailored real estate services and collaborate with local and global brand colleagues from executive, finance, legal, design, construction, human resources, and communication teams
• Liaise with engineers, architects and interior designers to create a holistic retail experience

Requirements

• Previous experience in sourcing retail space for LUXURY stores ( essential )
• Experienced within the HK Real estate market
• Used to creating beautiful environments for HNW and UHNW shoppers in HK
• Fluent English and Cantonese or Mandarin
