Supply Chain Specialist
Role: Supply Chain Specialist
Contract Length: 9 months
Candidate Pay Rate: £12.80 – £13.80 Hourly + Holiday pay
Location: Remote working – access to London preferred
Start: Immediate
We are working with a global company who require a supply chain coordinator to join their team to support wit ha range of supply chain administrative work. The ideal candidate will come from a logistics/supply chain background and have experience in a warehouse management role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maximise safety and ergonomics standard into all Supply Chain material handling processes.
- Coordinate warehousing activities of external contractors over 40 storage facilities in 9 countries.
- Plan workload forecasting to anticipate volume peaks and support workforce staffing.
- Investigate workflow and propose improvements for Inbound, Storage and Outbound processes.
- Support definition of Inventory management procedures and implement standards over all location with the support of Third Parties Contractors.
- Set up control measures to ensure procedure and policies guidelines are met.
- Work in partnership with Third party Contractors team to introduce innovative solutions and elevate Standards
- Support reporting of Inventory status and monitor accuracy
- Propose and support implementation of innovative solutions to simplify and automatise IT systems and at the same time facilitate collaborative working among multiple functions, including external parties.
Basic qualifications
- Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in warehouse management
- Experience with ERP / MRP systems.
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Proficiency in MySQL or equivalent
- Fluent/business proficient in English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of dealing with both internal and external customers/suppliers at all levels.

- Able/willing to travel
- Focused, sharp mind, well organized to manage complexity of multiple projects.
- Very good writing skills to set up clear and understandable processes
