TITLE: Enterprise Systems Product Owner ( tech)

Salary : Total comp of £66,000 ( comprised of a base of £60k + £6k bonus). There are other excellent company benefits
Location : Buckinghamshire
Work style: Hybrid 2 days in the office. The rest is wfh

The role: This is a customer facing role in which you be directly responsible for the success of a retail software product within the company making sure that the product checks all the boxes from both the business and customer/user perspectives. You will uncover SWOTS and ensure that the product keeps moving onward and upward throughout its lifecycle. You will also be a true partner for the commercial functions’ management teams, representing the aims of Enterprise Systems in business decision-making and in supporting the further growth of the business
- In this role you will be the interface with internal teams across the business and software development teams including developers, designers, architects, etc
- Establish customer needs and then distil these into product strategies
- Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product.
- Understand the rationale behind competitors’ strategies through market analysis and address technical risks.
- Identify the key differentiators to ensure a world class service delivery.
- Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the teams
- Create business cases to ensure the right product development is prioritised.
- Help to create innovative technology solutions that solve retailers problems
- Provide insights related to customer needs, competitive restaurant landscape, and industry trends
- Provide direction internally and to 3rd parties, to ensure tech solutions are developed which meet the needs of the customer.
- Ensure products are launched correctly with the appropriate stakeholder management and communications in place.
- Track and measure the success of the product . Make data driven decisions on whether to adjust, refine or pivot.
- Help restaurants adopt the product.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years+ product management experience in FMCG/Retail environment
- Experience of agile delivery methods, e.g. SAFe
- Experience of UX best practices
- Experience of enterprise architecture best practices
- Experience of supporting both in-house and 3rd party technical engineering/delivery teams
