Pay Rate: £450 to £500 Per day + Holiday Pay (PAYE)
Location: London office – Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

Expected duration: 9 months with a possibility to extend
Our client is one of the world’s largest tech companies. Their workforce Staffing team is on the lookout for an experienced business intelligence engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience in data visualisation and knowledge of relevant tools such as Tableau, Power BI or a similar tool, and also have an advanced knowledge of coding using SQL.
The Business Intelligence Engineer will be responsible for creating the proper data modelling necessary to facilitate reporting and analytics, identifying new data sources, and building out comprehensive data visualizations for key stakeholders. The role will be part process improvement, part analytics, part data modelling, and part strategic design.
The role will support EU Markets with a focus on supporting our Large Customer Ads Sales team and analysing our overall advertising business in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver reporting and insight to support the delivery of the Sales teams’ KPIs and strategic goals.
- Build out comprehensive metrics to measure operational health, then demonstrate continuous improvement within these metrics
- Apply deep analytic and business intelligence skills to extract meaningful insights and learning from large and complex data sets.
- Build high impact dashboards to tell the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers through rich visualizations.
- Identify various data sources to enable holistic analysis at a global level
- Recognise and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, or related quantitative field, or equivalent experience
- 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in a BI and/or Statistics role
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex SQL queries
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik. QuickSight or other relevant data visualization software.
- Knowledge of data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, ETL and reporting/analytic tools and environment.
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
- Able to work in a diverse team
