Title: Senior Business Development Manager (the title is flexible, depending on experience)
Language needed: Fluent Mandarin and English
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + generous commission scheme
Location: Fully remote, with occasional travel to London/Winchester

About this role: You will be working with healthcare brands globally to provide unique and tailored solutions for their business in China, and wider Asia. You’ll be working at senior levels within client organisations, which will require you to be highly attuned to the needs of the client; from board level, down to operational. A high level of commercial acumen and understanding is required for this role. Corporate experience working in a multinational is preferred. You’ll need to be able to work closely with teams around the world, developing and implementing tactical plans to achieve sales targets and build networks.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Business Development from first contact to partnership execution.
* Manage existing accounts through a consultative approach to account management.
* Management of day-to-day sales required by the business.
* Management of a new business pipeline.
* Work collaboratively with a remotely based international team to lead external pitches to inbound enquiries.
* Lead and network at industry events in order to build key relationships with external stakeholders.
* Present International growth opportunities to mid-sized (>$10m P/A) firms
* Lead in the launch and execution for new-to-the-market OTC healthcare products.
Preferred Qualification and Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in business development
- Ability to identify opportunities and to elevate them with external and internal stakeholders
- Proven track record of securing new businesses through adopting consultative approach
- Highly confident making presentations and delivering at senior level or at events
- Strong complaint resolution and customer care skills
- Knowledge of the China sales and eCommerce landscape and good understanding with marketplaces
