Incredibly exciting opportunity to join one of the world’s leading Financial Services organisations!
This role is to is based in the Operations Department covering the processing, confirmation and settlement of treasury, clearing and treasury transactions undertaken by the Bank.
Main duties:
· Take ownership of processing daily trades and completing each transaction accurately and efficiently in accordance with each product and the department’s operational procedures;
· Recognise and manage operational risks involved with each type of transaction. Resolve discrepancies and mismatches in regard to transaction materials and confirm with the Bank’s counterparties as soon as possible; report and escalate in a timely manner as and when required;
· CDD/KYC collating the CDD documents for Financial Institutions (e.g. Nostro, Vostro Bank) and screening new customers using systems;
· Treasury products processing and settlement – mainly (inter-bank) loan/deposit, Foreign Exchange / FX Swap, Bond settlement, Repo / Reverse Repo, Interest & Cross-currency swaps. Follow through mismatched trading information and take ownership of the investigation process to ensure issues or concerns have been dealt with promptly
