Do you have a STRATEGIC SOURCING /PROCUREMENT background within the FOOD sector ? This is a lovely role for someone who has a specialist knowledge of buying tangible assets such as flooring, lighting, ovens, audio visuals, hotplates, chillers etc. In this role you will locate, negotiate and deliver a sourcing strategy specifically for equipment and décor for an international RESTAURANT and retail chain . You must have experience in planning category strategies and you will meet new suppliers and agree new contracts that will de-risk the business as it grows. 3 days in the office 2 wfh. UK Salary : £84,750 ( comprised of c£70,000 basic plus 10% annual bonus and car allowance of £7750 )

Contract : Permanent role
Contract type: Hybrid ( 1-2 days in the office . The rest is WFH)

The Company
Major restaurant chain that is growing fast and is looking for someone to strategically source equipment and décor for its restaurants . This is an open plan office environment, and you will be fully responsible for developing and delivering a functional strategic sourcing strategy in order to deliver innovation and savings across the business. There will be some international travel in this role in order to meet suppliers

The role

• Source for restaurant equipment such as ovens, refrigeration, hot-plates, menu boards and everything else required to portray a consistent décor and theme across all restaurants
• Develop the sourcing strategy
• Visiting new suppliers and agreeing contract term.
• Conduct online auctions
• Working to agreed targets on productivity/cost savings/ performance against inflation
• Liaising constantly with the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager
• Agreeing a decor sourcing programme against agreed timetable
• Working to sustainability KPIs in order to reduce waste
• Conduct Tenders
• Negotiating contracts with suppliers
• Meet suppliers across Europe

Requirements

• Experience in the procurement of restaurant or retail décor and equipment
• Car driver
• Experience of purchasing goods across Europe
