Internal Communications Manager
Job Description: Title: Internal Communications Manager – EMEA
Pay rate: £400 to £450 per day + Holiday pay (PAYE – Inside IR35)
Expected duration: 9 Months

Our client is a global technology business. They are looking for an experienced internal communications Manager to join them. In this role you will own project management, development, production, publishing, and distribution of digital and print communications across owned internal channels for an assigned set of EMEA countries. Have an opportunity to build new messaging strategies and programs aimed at improving awareness and engagement rates among a distributed and mobile workforce.
This role requires an excellent writer and editor with the ability to dive deep into complex benefits programs in order to translate complex concepts into clear, concise user-friendly content and communications for our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the benefit communications and editorial calendar for the countries assigned to you.
- Write compelling and effective copy that resonates with diverse audiences across a variety of marketing channels.
- Demonstrate strong copyediting skills, including rewriting, optimising, and editing messaging and content developed by other stakeholders.
- Ensure all content is factually accurate, grammatically correct, and adheres to our internal communication tenets and tone of voice.
- Coordinate across internal partners and channels to embed benefits messaging into a variety of channels, ensuring consistency across all employee touchpoints.
- Own pre-production and publishing of communications and materials using internal and external communication tools according to business need and established editorial calendar.
- Work with in-country stakeholders (benefits consultants, benefits operations, DEI teams, etc.) to understand local nuances and adapt global or regional content for a local audience.
- Partner with stakeholders to build efficient processes and a templated approach to content production for scalability.
- Provide ad hoc support for communications projects on the team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ professional experience in a writing or editing role where grammatical and material accuracy was essential.
- Experience in an internal communications role.
- Superior English verbal and written communication skills with experience in email, social media, or digital marketing publishing and production.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with competing timelines and priorities.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience writing for a diverse, remote, and mobile workforce.
- Fluency in one other language represented within the region is a plus (e.g. German, French, Italian, Spanish, or Polish).
