Role: Events Administrator & Sponsor Liaison
Salary: £22,000 + £3,000 performance-based bonus
Start: ASAP
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm
Location: Central London office – Hybrid working
Note on working arrangement: The role involves working both from home and the office. Depending on the timing of event cycles work might be done mainly from the office. At quieter times most of the work might be done from home.
Our client is a leading Events and Conferences business that specialises in organising events within the Cyber Security field.
They are looking for a motivated, quick learner to join their marketing and events logistics team. This role is best suited to someone with high attention to detail as well as being a strong communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships throughout the business. This opportunity involves quickly becoming a fundamental employee in the business. You will work in a fast-paced environment so this role is best suited to someone who can meet deadlines under pressure.
You will have an interest the role data plays in helping a company meet its goals and have a desire to succeed in this field.
Responsibilities
· Working with our clients to ensure they get maximum ROI out of our events
· Preparing and distributing events logistical information
· Obtaining sponsor materials and updating various internal event systems
· Answering sponsor related queries
· Liaising with confirmed sponsor speakers to direct their presentation topics
· Working with sponsor speakers to help them prepare their event materials on time and to the highest of standards
· Providing regular updates and sharing sales intelligence with colleagues
· Maintaining the company’s high standards, for example with prompt time keeping and the correct use of grammar and punctuation
· Attending in-person UK and international events as well as virtual events on the day while completing various event tasks
Requirements
· Education to degree level or equivalent education (Preferred)
· 6 Months or more previous administrative, events coordination, or events logistics experience would be highly desirable OR interest in the events industry
· Experience with using Salesforce or similar CRM systems (desirable but not essential)
· Ability to work independently and take full responsibility on different types of data projects
· Strong office and administrative skills, including MS Office Suite
· Proactive attitude
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Highly organised and able to prioritise workload
· Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
· Flexibility to travel internationally as and when required
