Mandarin Speaking Compliance Manager (Banking)
Exciting opportunity to join a leading Chinese bank. They’ve operated in central London as a branch for several years, and are now looking for an experienced Mandarin speaking Compliance professional to join the team. The idea candidate will speak fluent Mandarin, with more than 5 years of compliance experience within financial services. This is a fabulous opportunity to join a small team covering a wide area of responsibilities.
Title: Mandarin: Compliance Assistant Manager or Manager (depending on experience)
Languages: Fluent Mandarin and English
Location: Central London (4 days onsite, 1 day wfh)
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Identifying the regulatory risks that the Branch faces
- The design and implementation of the policies and procedures, systems and controls that constitute the Compliance Programs and their related activities designed to prevent unethical, or improper conduct
- Monitoring the effectiveness of those systems and controls
- The provision of training and guidance to management and employees
- Other duties as assigned by the Head of Compliance
Preferred Experience and Requirements
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English
- 5+ years’ experience in compliance role within the financial industry
- Experience in contract law is a plus
- You must have full permission to work in the UK (without sponsorship now or in the future)
