Description
Our client is a global TV, Media, and VOD streaming provider. Their internal creative agency is looking for a Mid-level video editor. This role demands an enthusiastic and creative approach to crafting compelling AV trailer concept sequences by sourcing themed key scenes and key dialog and often combining them with engaging music. You will be crafting AV concepts using the company’s Original Shows for Brand marketing campaigns, producing enchanting content for broadcast and social advertising across the EMEA region.
You’ll use your knowledge of the shows and when certain moments happen in stories, you’ll be gracefully interweaving emotional tugging dialog and scenes that flow seamlessly. Your role involves finding the right moments that work with each other to create comprehensible narratives that have a positive impact on audiences. Whether building fun and amusing TV adverts or swiftly creating short form reactive social ads, your creative input will provide campaigns with a launch pad to then scale across countries, resonating with our customers.
This position requires an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, being aware of the world around them and the way that audiences like to watch and engage with entertainment. You’ll excel in developing advertising with scale and reach, creating assets with insightful, comedic, and moving nuances that make our customers laugh or sit at the edge of their seat. Working with Creative directors, you’ll conceptualise in create sessions to then create entertaining trailer concepts for the team to then take forward into scalable campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Develop Av concepts for TV adverts, digital content and social media campaigns.
- Craft compelling narratives for TV advertising campaigns with extensive reach and impact.
- Stay current with the original content insights, ensuring content remains relevant and engaging.
- Work closely with the creative teams to turn quick ideas into scalable impactful campaigns.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Adobe creative suite: Premiere, After Effects and photoshoot.
- 4+ years editorial experience at an in-house agency or external creative agency teams
- 3+ years working in theatrical and/or broadcast television/streaming spaces
- Understanding of aspect ratios, frame rates, conversions, & codecs
- Enthusiasm for video editing to execute innovative advertising ideas.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Must provide a current demo reel or link showcasing previous video editing work
Preferred Qualifications
* Proven experience in creative video editor role within a creative agency, focusing on TV, digital and social advertising.
* A strong passion for film and entertainment, with experience integrating these themes into advertising campaigns.
* Entertainment-focused editing experience, preferably theatrical and streaming
