Role: Senior Creative Copywriter

Pay rate: £300- £446 Daily Rate (PAYE) (depending on experience) + Holiday pay equivalent to 33 days per annum
Duration: 6 months (Could extend depending on performance)
Start: January 2024
Location: Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 from home)
Our client is a global entertainment company, that is looking for suitable copywriter candidates for their online video-streaming platform. The Senior Copywriter will work with art directors, designers, producers to create good customer experiences both by innovating with a variety of online and offline platforms.
This role will use data and insights to create campaign strategy and concepts, write copy, and develop scripts and templates for never-before-done brand experiences that will solve customer problems, on and off their platforms. You have strong conceptual, presentation, storytelling, and project management skills, as well as digital media, and of course, an acute attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Define the creative strategy for multiple advertisers
- Concept, design, and execute innovative advertising campaigns and experiences for global brands?from developing the creative brief to launching the campaign.
- Independently direct campaigns and collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external agency partners
- Direct creative disciplines outside your area of functional expertise and provide feedback in all stages of the creative development process
- Partner with and/or lead art directors, copywriters, designers, program managers, developers, and content producers to create customer-focused solutions that deliver on advertiser objectives
- Deliver high-quality copy for campaigns across different touch-points
- Provide in-depth understanding of copy-writing for all formats-digital, print, out-of-home, video and audio scripts, and more
- Synthesise strategic research and/or data to develop campaign ideas
- Lead the creation of presentations; present ideas and concepts to clients, agencies, and internally
- Make creative trade-off decisions between teams, clients, and end-customer needs
- Measure and evaluate current processes within the department and improve them through documentation
- Mentor and inspire other creatives
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a copywriter in content, advertising, and product environments.
- Proven ability to ideate for film, print, digital, out-of-home, experiential and social
- Must have an online portfolio that contains work demonstrating breadth and depth in conceptual thinking and copy-writing. This should also include your strategic approach and process.
- Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesise feedback and input from marketing, product management, sales, market research, internal and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time to make aggressive deadlines
- Can distil marketing challenges and business goals down into focused creative briefs.
- Can sell strategic thinking and creative concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Entertainment experience is preferred but not necessary.
