Description:
Our client is a global tv and film video streaming provider. They are looking for a highly skilled creative copywriter to join the internal creative agency team. You will lead the brand and sports marketing campaigns, producing enchanting content for broadcast and radio advertising across the EMEA region.
Your role involves creating compelling narratives and possessing a flair for production that leaves audiences spellbound. Whether scripting engaging TV adverts or producing memorable radio adverts, your creative leadership will inject campaigns with humour, resonating with customers.
This position requires an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, experienced in writing, presenting, and executing large-scale Above-The-Line (ATL) campaigns. You’ll excel in developing advertising with scale and reach, creating assets with insightful, comedic nuances that make customers laugh. Collaborating with marketing teams, you’ll transform strategic visions into impactful, memorable campaigns, working alongside design teams in Costa Rica one day and peers in Munich, France, or South Africa the next.

Responsibilities
- Develop scripts for TV adverts, digital content, print adverts, and social media campaigns.
- Craft compelling narratives for TV advertising campaigns with extensive reach and impact.
- Manage live-action shoots, collaborating with sports celebrities, particularly in football.
- Stay current with sports insights and player hot topics, ensuring content remains relevant and engaging.
- Work closely with marketing teams to turn strategies into impactful campaigns.
- Coordinate with teams across EMEA for cohesive campaign execution.
Requirements
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in copywriting, focusing on writing and producing brand TV adverts.
- Previous experience in a brand environment, ideally in a senior role.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing TV advertising campaigns, digital, print, and social media projects.
- Expertise in conceptualising, articulating, and executing innovative advertising ideas.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Happy to wear many hats and have an entrepreneurial spirit, adept at writing, presenting, and driving large-scale ATL campaigns.
- Experience with writing and producing comedy in commercials, demonstrating a unique ability to balance humour with brand messaging.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior copywriting role within a creative agency, focusing on TV and radio advertising.
- A strong passion for sports, especially football, with experience integrating these themes into advertising campaigns.
- History of working with celebrities in advertising contexts.
- Deep knowledge of the entertainment industry, particularly streaming services or television.
- Proficiency in adapting the brand voice to suit a broad range of programme and movie tones, catering to diverse audience preferences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across multiple regions.
- A creative and detail-oriented mindset.

Collaborating with a band of creatives and teams across EMEA, you’ll ensure your innovative ideas are not just effectively communicated but also receive a standing ovation. Keeping your finger on the pulse of the latest trends in sports insights and hot topics, you’ll ensure our content remains fresh and engaging. Your role is pivotal in creating campaigns that resonate universally, making customers laugh from Nairobi to London, and beyond.
