JEWELLERY: UK Brand Manager (Sales & Marketing)
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious BRAND MANAGER with experience within luxury fashion, jewellery or watches to join an ambitious brand and help drive its sales and marketing strategy. You will liaise with distributors and wholesalers, keep the brand fresh and desirable and recruit, mentor, and coach an enthusiastic team so that they are engaged and perform at their best. This is a desirable brand and a lovely, unique opportunity for someone with relevant experience.

Salary: £85,000 – £90,000 + bonus and generous benefits

The role:
Very exciting new role for a Brand Manager who will take full responsibility for all aspects of developing and running a well-known jewellery brand. Your aim will be to help drive sales across the brand as well as team management and keep the brand front-of-mind and desirable.
Duties: Overseeing the wholesales side of the business the role has three key elements 1) to drive sales and increase brand recognition 2) manage the P+L for the brand 3) Team management
1)Drive sales through brand awareness:
- Enhance the profile of the brand across the UK.
- Research new distribution opportunities including the completion of tenders.
- Work to agreed marketing strategies and time frames.
- Prepare a Sales/Marketing and Communication plans for the UK.
- Liaise with retailers and wholesalers on a regular basis.
- Ensure that retailers are using the correctly branded displays for their stores.
2)Manage the P+L
- Create a detailed annual business plan.
- All budget and P+L responsibilities for your division
- Oversee client payment terms/accounts receivable.
- Responsible for the purchase of items from Switzerland
- Control of stock availability
- Manage the county -wide pricing policy.
- Protect the brand.
- Create reports for the Brand VP & Country Manager
3)Team Management (a ” hands on ” approach)
- Recruit and train the UK sales and marketing Team.
- Ensure that staff is retained and performing optimally.
- Set motivating targets and support and mentor the team.
- Liaise with HR regarding skills shortfalls and flag up training needs.
