Salary – £280 to £290/day (PAYE +Holiday pay)

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Insight Manager to join our client’s Insight team. Our client is a global technology leader with business area covering retail, technology, and much more.
This person will play a critical role in expanding Customer Insights capabilities in EU. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth running of consumer research and insight projects across Europe, working directly with internal stakeholders and external research agency partners. This position will be instrumental in providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organisation to support the business across Europe.
The ideal candidate will be a research professional who is highly ambitious and driven to achieve excellent standards of work. The primary focus for this role is to lead research projects, deliver impactful findings, and work with multiple stakeholders across the Organisation to drive commercial advantage by putting the customer at the heart of the decision-making process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and project manage research initiatives, from writing briefs, designing methodologies, working with research agencies to field research, and using the data to land impactful findings.
- Translate business problems into actionable research designs and methods.
- Implement bespoke qualitative and quantitative research projects in response to requests from internal stakeholders to drive and support business decisions.
- Use research to inform proposition and program development and to help inform the business on what our customers want us to do.
- Build and manage relationships with third party research agencies and internal stakeholders in both the EU and US.
- Grow the impact of the team, providing customer-driven insights to influence business decisions.
- Facilitate action-driving discussions with brand stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience: Ideally 10+ years relevant market research experience across a range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- End-to-end Research management experience – working with agency partners to deliver qualitative and quantitative research projects: understanding the business question, developing the brief, agency selection & management, overseeing every step of the project through to a quality output and debrief
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, excellent prioritization skills
- Experience in selecting, analysing and synthesising multiple sources of insight & data, translating these into tangible insights & recommendations
- Ability to analyse data and create strong and compelling written reports that answer the research objectives succinctly and persuasively.
- Able to drive projects to conclusion and work effectively with and influence a variety of cross functional partners from various levels within the company
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn, able to think creatively and to pick up new ways of working quickly.
- Dynamic team member with an interest in engaging a multi-national team
- Confident in working both collaboratively and independently.
- Experience managing or working within global cross-functional marketing teams
- Excellent communication skills and strong project management capabilities
- High attention to detail across written communication and outputs
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages e.g., Excel, Word
- Fluent in English, and able to apply cultural sensitivity to driving business performance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualifications (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) in one of the following areas: Business, Market Research, Social Sciences, Communications, Psychology, Marketing Communications, Anthropology, Sociology, etc.
- European language skills a bonus, but not essential
