German Speaker Sales Assistant/Order Administrator
Department: Pre-Sales
Location: Central London
Work style: Onsite (5 days in the office, during 3 month probation. Flexible after that 2x wfh 3x onsite)
Contract type: 6 months with a view to permanent
Salary : Up to £34,590 gross per annum (pro-rata)
Company Details: This is an exciting opportunity for an inquisitive German speaking talent to join a growing high end Scandinavian furniture brand that supplies retailers globally as well as having its own stores that sell direct to the public. The furniture is beautiful, functional and has clean lines in a very ” Scandi” tradition and your role will be to look after German retailers in an after-sales capacity This is not a high pressure call centre but a position in which you will take your time to look after the customer carefully and thoughtfully.
About the role:
To carry out the commercial and administrative processing of orders for DACH markets. The right candidate is someone who will be a culture fit to the already existing team of 14-20 German speakers (mostly Londoners coming from diverse background) and would add valuable support.
How your day-to-day looks like:
Technical Order Management
- Receive and register compliant orders into an in-house ERP system (SAP).
- Daily usage of client’s internal portals and the in-house CS system (C4C) for any order request.
- Provide distributors with all the information they need to guarantee the best possible service to end clients (order confirmation information, lead times, prices, products, etc.).
- Liaise with the distributors or sales representatives for details and changes to be made to “non-compliant” orders.
B2B Administration
- Liaise with stakeholders ( such as stores reps, retailers, clients, distributors, vendors, suppliers, external agencies and internal team members from Norway, Germany, UK and France ) regarding orders.
- Deal with any issues or complaints in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Help with any product information or technical queries regarding orders.
- Keep key accounts updated via email or over the phone with any product news or orders.
Basic qualifications:
- Fluent German ( native standard ideally )
- 1-2 years previous sales administration or order management experience as a sales assistant
- Master of SAP (ERP) systems is mandatory
- Good IT skills
- Strong soft skills
- Knowledge of Cloud for Customer (C4C) system appreciated
- Mechanical and technical ideation ( deep understanding of furniture parts or similar areas like car/airplanes/printers/robotics ) appreciated
- Excellent communication both written and oral
- Solution oriented and a strong team player
