Mandarin Speaking: Finance Controller + Admin
Our client is a successful Chinese publishing company with 500+ employees, setting up their London office. They’re looking for a Mandarin speaking finance professional who can be the point of contact with their Finance and HR functions’ outsourcing agencies to assist with London office’s Finance and HR related matters. You will need a minimum 3 years of finance experience and willing to take on administrative tasks.
Title: Mandarin speaking Finance & Admin
Salary: £50,000 – $60,000
Location: Central London (Hybrid 4 days onsite 1 day wfh)
Languages: Fluent Mandarin and English
Visa Requirement: The client will not provide visa sponsorship. You will need to have an eligible visa without sponsorship now or in the future. (Graduate visa and YMS visa will not be successful for this role)
Role in a nutshell: You will be acting as the point of contact with the external outsourcing agencies on company’s finance and HR related matters. You will also be responsible for office’s administrative matters.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Assist in handing daily financial matters in the London office to ensure smooth financial processes
- Assist in completing tax reporting, audits, and other external financial-related matters
- Monitor daily financial processes, propose optimisation suggestions, and improve financial work efficiency
Administrative Management
- Coordinate administrative matters such as office space rental, renovation and maintenance, and equipment procurement in the London office
- Be responsible for the procurement, distribution, and inventory management of office supplies to ensure employee’s daily office needs
- Arrange meetings, receive visitors, and maintain the company’s image
- Assist in handling employee travel, visa, and other related matters
Human Resources Management
- Assist in completing employee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding procedures, maintaining employee records
- Assist in developing and implementing employee welfare policies to enhance employee satisfaction
- Regularly organise employee training and team-building activities to promote team cohesion
Requirements
- 3+ years in financial administration or similar positions
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Eligible visa without the need of sponsorship now or in the future
- Excellent communication skill with stakeholders
- Proficient in MS Office software
- Have a strong interest in cross-cultural communication and are willing to develop a personal career in an international environment
