Role: Social Media Specialist
Expected Duration: 12 months with a possibility of becoming permanent

Pay rate: £15 per hour + Holiday pay
Location: Offices in London and Oxford – hybrid and remote working will be considered – you should be able to travel to the office as and when required
Our client is a world leading marketplace for travel excursions and experiences. They are looking for a social media specialist to help make the business’s social media shine.
You’ll be working across their established and new channels to help manage the production and publishing of outstanding content that helps them stand out and act as the voice of brand, engaging with their community.
The ideal candidate is a social native. They are creative, proactive, and are always thinking about new ways for a brand to show up online. You will be sharing responsibilities with another member of the social media team, so collaborative first mindset skills are key. This role reports to the Social Media Manager.
Responsibilities
- Ideate and create (shoot/edit) photo and video social media posts for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and more
- Manage the scheduling of social media posts either natively or via a social media publishing tool
- Partner on community management with social media specialist, including responding to comments and engaging with customers
- Maintain social media profiles with accurate information
- Keep up with social media trends and insights, find new opportunities for the business and deliver findings to the rest of the content team
- Support social media manager with any analytics needs
Requirements
- At 1-3 years of social media experience
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Experience working with social media management platforms such as Dash Hudson, Sprinklr, or Sprout.
- Experience with creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- A keen attention to detail and strong sense of creativity.
- Excellent relationship building skills to work cross-functionally with teams across creative, paid social, analytics, and partners.
- Excellent time management skills to balance multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.
- Understanding of the social media landscape including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, TikTok and any other emerging platforms.
- A willingness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude
- Interested in the Travel Industry
