Role: Qualified Accountant
Experience required: 4 to 5 years PQE
Pay rate: £256 per day + Holiday pay (PAYE Inside IR35)
Expected duration: 15 Months Contract (With a possibility of extending)

Location: Central London – Hybrid working 3:2
Our client is a global TV entertainment provider, they have an opening for a Senior Accountant to support the EMEA operational accounting activities.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity with a strong ability to prioritise multiple projects and to execute deliverables with excellent communication and to a high standard. The ability to influence stakeholders will also be essential to succeed in this role.
Key job responsibilities
- Preparation of various deliverables to support both internal and external financial reporting needs, including analytic commentary and the preparation of supplementary financial analysis for management and other stakeholders.
- Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Leading certain month end close activities, ensuring that relevant deadlines are met.
- Direct responsibility for assessing and improving accounting processes and controls for a business with a high volume of transactions.
- Actively participating in cross functional project launches from scoping through to testing and launch. Responsibility for actively engaging with a variety of stakeholders within the business, including technology and administrative team on business integration projects.
- Successfully collaborate with and influence international business partners in cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Degree educated ideally in accounting/economics or finance
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with 4-5 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of IFRS or other accounting frameworks
- Excellent communication and organisation skills, including the ability to anticipate, identify and communicate risks to leadership
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
- Strong level of Microsoft Excel
