Company Details: Well established international firm of Accountants with a huge portfolio of clients across Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Portugal. This firm has retained a ” family ” feel in spite of its size and expertise and provides outsourced services for international clients with regards VAT, payroll, management accounting etc. It’s a lovely company to work for and has low staff-turnover rates.
Duties
Relationship Management
*Working with a valuable portfolio of German clients and using your German daily
*Acting as the first point of contact with senior client staff who will be based overseas, (Financial Controllers and CFO level) as well as UK based operational staff.
*Discussing their accounting, tax and payroll needs in German
*Reviewing VAT returns and registrations, management reports, payment runs, client billing process, dealing with queries
*Drive forward client projects and building up excellent personal working relationships with clients, understanding their business requirements
*Dealing with technical enquiries from clients and completing quality control reviews
*Audit work
*Liaising with auditors and HM Revenue & Customs.
*Managing and controlling project workflows (Resource planning) with the Audit team
Requirements
*ACCA Qualified
*Previous experience within an accountancy practice of managing a portfolio of clients
*Fluent German
