THE COMPANY
You will be joining a dynamic team of 100 staff working on medical translation projects on behalf of a huge healthcare and wellness organisation. This company produces well known over-the-counter medicines as well as researches cutting-edge cures for illnesses. It is highly respected, wellknown and the research it undertakes is exciting and potentially transformational. The company works with governments, NGO’s and scientists globally and you will be an integral part of the team that manages multiple translation & transcreation projects into Spanish

You have the option of being based in London, Madrid or Barcelona. This is a senior role focusing on South America.

THE ROLE:
To manage multiple healthcare-related translation projects and be the first point of contact for the client. You will use your Spanish and English daily, both written and spoken

*Concentrating on working for the client’s South American market
*Managing both client relationships and executing the end-to-end production workflow
*You will be based in a multilingual team of 100 relationship managers, translators, transcreators, junior Project Managers and client care personnel
*Liaising regularly with external studio producers to execute flawlessly across digital, video and print
*Speaking to media agencies and creative agencies
*Management of multiple projects into Spanish
*Meet strict translation/transcreation deadlines, budgets and time frames.
*Forward plan new projects.
*Drive cost efficiencies through resource planning, process re-engineering and maximisation of economies of scale
*Work to set Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
*Liaise with the client directly constantly in order to manage their expectations re project delivery
*Communicating internally regarding project planning, execution, and quality control
*Liaise with freelance translators, remote team members and more junior admin staff
*Proofreading, editing and checking of documents

REQUIREMENTS:
*Fluent Spanish (to native standard)
*Translation or Transcreation Project Management background is essential
