Responsibilities:
A mix of sales responsibilities with consultancy services
* Liaise with government departments, individual businesses and members of the public
* Promote the consultancy services of this company
* Providing information to potential business partners and engineering, construction and other companies. All follow-up.
* Taking inbound enquiries regarding the documentation needed for products to meet safety standards
* Manage the safety certification process on behalf of clients, including processing all paperwork and legal documentation
* Liaise with clients (from government departments to consumer groups) in Chinese and English on a daily basis, deal with emails and take calls
* Provide guidance on the labelling of electrical goods
* Help with import/export documentation
* Business Development: Organise and attend seminars and client training for manufacturers, importers or exporters
* Proactively promote and “sell” attendance at events
* Responsible for developing the company’s services to potential and new clients’
* Provide information related to event attendance costs, location and topics for discussion.
* Outbound courtesy-calling to speak to potential event attendees. Follow-up all new business opportunities
* You will be travelling to events internationally to meet clients and deal with queries

Requirements:
* A degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent
* ISO9000 certified or other relevant product certifications;
* Minimum 2 years commercial experience;
* Fluent speaking and written Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
