The company
Essential Experience: Advertising sales or previous telesales experience
Company: Global publishing and events company specializing in the food and fresh produce sector. There is some telesales in this role and you will need to demonstrate that you have relevant outbound-calling experience and are happy to develop relationships with clients over the phone as well as via email.
This is essentially a Relationship Management and Business development role
The Role: This is NOT a “hard sales” environment: the company is a specialist organization, and relationships with their clients are already well established. The emphasis of this role is on building relationships!.
*Selling print and subscriptions across 6 specialist magazines to new and existing clients
*Renewing subscriptions with existing clients
*Dealing with the administration generated by the sales
*To liaise with established clients and promote display advertising packages and events over the telephone
*To manage existing relationships and be the key point of contact for clients
*Meet clients face to face at international trade shows
*Visit clients in the UK and abroad in order to generate business
*Daily use of your language skills to speak to suppliers and clients globally, especially in the Mediterranean countries and Latin America
*To develop new business from existing clients by providing them with a top-flight service at all times
*Marketing responsibilities including creating and coordinating promotional e-mail campaigns
*Undertake lapsed-subscriber email marketing and social media campaigns
*Follow-up on enquiries
Requirements
*Fluency in another European language
*Fluent English
*You MUST have previous sales/telesales experience
*Degree educated
