Financial Analyst
This is a very exciting business that has offices in South America, UK and Germany. They are a specialist engineering business within the automotive sector. This is working in the boutique London office, from where all financial planning and reporting is done.
Main duties:
– Responsible to develop and follow-up yearly budgets for all subsidiaries of the group to meet the company’s financial objectives / targets (cost control analysis).
– In charge of improving the group’s current 5-year projections (Forecasts).
– Direct involvement and constant communication with the heads the company’s local finance departments (e.g. serve as “back-up” in case any local finance manager (Germany, Mexico or Spain) needs assistance with financial analysis).
– Evaluate potential investments/projects the management team aims to develop.
– Rigorous control of the group’s Cash Flow.
– Prepare and present recurrent reports to the company’s managing director and group’s CFO.
Successful candidates will have the following skills:
– Financial / accounting educational and work experience/background (bachelor’s in finance/accounting or similar).
– If needed, ability to travel to the group’s subsidiaries located in Mexico, Germany and Spain.
– Capacity to analyse and project financial figures (analytical skills).
– Experience in developing and following-up yearly budgets.
– Strong use of Excel.
– Experience in using SAP Business One (or similar).
– Fluent/acceptable Spanish and/or German (not mandatory).
