HR Director ( Telecommunications)
TITLE: Corporate HR Director
SALARY : £100,000- £145,000 + benefits
LANGUAGE: Fluent English
LOCATION: Slough (Berkshire. 30 minutes from Paddington, London)
DURATION OF CONTRACT : Permanent full-time role
COMPANY Global Anglo-Chinese company that is setting up a new entity in the UK and will be expanding rapidly. This is a strategic DIRECTOR OF HR role and you will be required to put in place all policies and procedure that will help set up the UK operation quickly and efficiently . You will have an HR Manager to oversee and together you will be implementing the UK Human capital strategy of the business so that this organisation becomes the employer of choice in its sector with a high attraction and retention rate.
DUTIES:
This is an exception role in that the company is setting up its new office in the UK , so your will involve defining HR strategies and culture. The role will evolve as you take on more staff and as the company expands. There are outstanding career opportunities for the right person.
- Development of corporate plans re strategic partnerships covering recruitment , compensation and benefits, insurances, and legal advisors
- Devise creative plans that help attract and retain staff
- Interview key staff
- Create strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development
- Liaising regularly with the international HQ to ensure that HR policies are in line with corporate goals
- Providing advice to senior managers including legal issue relating to performance, hiring, grievances, and dismissals
- Mitigate risks of litigation
- Ad hoc projects
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree educated (and ideally post graduate qualification) in HR
- Have HR Director level experience gained in the UK in a blue-chip company
- English must be to native standard
