Global Chinese company that is setting up a new entity in the UK and will be expanding rapidly. This company is on a “full-speed-ahead” growth plan and aims to be the very best -in-class in the UK within a year. As the UK SALES MANAGER, you will be a key part of the company’s growth strategy and will be responsible for managing a team of new sales executives that will help quickly build up the company’s presence and market share in the UK .
There are outstanding career opportunities for the right person in this role, as this is a new role for the UK and you will be instrumental in hand-picking your new sales team
Duties
This is a B2B consultative sales environment
- Recruit, oversee, coach and manage junior sales staff
- Motivate the team and lead from the front in terms of meeting personal sales targets and encourage the team to meet their targets
- Attend trade events
- Meeting existing customers and pitch to new prospects weekly.
- Produce a financial report on a monthly basis
- Be fully aware of competitors with thin the telecoms space, help to forecast growth
- Manage a new more junior sales team to encourage them to hit and surpass sales targets
- Provide a very consultative sales environment for clients and staff alike
- To focus on top tier customer care that will help corporate relationships flourish
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree educated
- English to native standard
- Previous experience in the Telecommunications sector
- In-depth knowledge of local and regional telecom markets.
