Job Title: In-house Localisation/Editor/Translator Language Specialist ( FRENCH Contract )

Salary: £28000-£31000 + private medical cover, private dental cover and pension

ROLE SUMMARY

This is an amazing role for an experienced LOCALISATION/Translating specialist to join one of the very best global entertainment companies in the world, and a house-hold name in its sector. The Role

• Proof reading of all French narrative
• Translating into French across all types of media, from instructions to websites, games , packaging, press releases, and all other marketing materials in the language of expertise.
• Overseeing the Quality Assurance
• Editing of grammar, punctuation, spelling, style, and language-specific slang
• Working within a team of translators from around the world
• Ensuring the localisation of all text and working creatively to pin down the spirit of the text and to project deadline
• Managing multiple communications channels and a busy and varied work schedule

Requirements

• Localisation and Translation experience or a qualification in Translation
• Experience in Editing
• Fluent English and Native standard French
• Relocation expenses may be offered if you are currently located outside of the UK and you will possibly have the opportunity to work remotely in part

There will be a translation test for this role
