THE COMPANY

The company is, filled with creative people who use their imaginations to design and then manufacture interesting gifts and toys. The office is buzzing with ideas, filled with “creatives” who want to design what is unusual and fun. Everything is produced in-house, from sourcing, prototype production, graphic development, packaging design, compliance and photography. The company has been working successfully with Germany and Austrian clients for several years and sales within these countries are growing. They are now looking for someone to join the team and build on their success. There will be occasional travel involved to Germany. You will be provided with full training in this role and the company will consider a top-flight graduate who has done some outbound calling and is looking for their first step into a sales career.
DUTIES; B2B sales and portfolio management
Relationship management
- Develop great relationships with an existing portfolio of clients across Germany and Austria and develop new business opportunities for the company
- Portfolio management
- Look after existing clients
- Grow business where there are already good relationships, introduce new products
- Listen to clients who will be able to suggest new product ideas
New Business development
- Research new prospects
- Map the competition
- Send courtesy introductory emails, undertake follow-up calls (telesales)to potential clients
- Attend international trade shows where you will meet existing clients and pick up new leads
- Constantly liaise with Marketing in order to localise marketing collateral
Export Logistics
- Negotiate on quantities and prices
- Organise delivery times
- Liaise with the warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure that orders will be fulfilled quickly
- Deal with returns
- Log all activity
Requirements
- Fluent German
- Keen to develop a career in a consultative sales environment
- Some experience in outbound calling or telesales
