TITLE: Residential Construction Project Manager

Language: Fluent English (additional European languages are useful)

Salary: Up to £55000 p/a + travel allowance

Contract type: 12 month project role

(Equivalent to day rate of between £150-£200per day before taxes)

Hours: 8am-5.30pm

This is a privately-owned specialist residential building and construction company with around 70 staff working on projects across London. International in outlook, they have grown fast in the buoyant London property market, and their success is largely to do with the fact that they put quality above quantity at all times and are passionate about building the best homes within the agreed budgets in terms. THE ROLE

You will be working on several projects that range from £100k -£2m:

• Overseeing multiple simultaneous residential construction projects
• Agree project time table with your hand-picked team and with the client
• Put together a project team, ensuring that you are working to each persons specialist skills
• Manage budgets, costings and third party suppliers
• Liaise with construction professionals including architects and designers
• Act as a key point of contact with clients, providing them with updates in order to manage expectations
• Attend on-site meetings
• Interpret technical plans and drawings

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience within Residential Construction sector
• Fluent English
• Car owner/driver for site visits
