Facilities Assistant
Title: Facilities Assistant
Location: Central London
Language Needed: Fluent English (any other language is a plus)
Salary & Working Hours: £16,5000 – 32,5 hours a week (Monday to Friday,10.00am to 5.00pm)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Hospitality Assistant (32.5 hours per week) to join our team based in our London showroom. In this position, you will be front of house (Reception) and will look after the telephone switchboard, the catering administration and visitor well-being.
Within others, their responsibilities will be:
- Provide refreshments and lunches for staff and clients, ensuring all dietary needs are captured and internal policies are followed
- Ensure meeting rooms are prepared and well presented
- Assist with moving furniture to help prepare rooms for events and training
- Book meeting rooms and catering for customer visits as required
- Ensure café area is clean, tidy and replenished though out the day
- Manage stock control and place orders when required
- Regularly walk through the showroom on a day to day basis to ensure it is presentable
and kept to a high standard
- Manage post requirement and contract for the franking machine
- Support the organisation of events
- Other Facilities administration duties as requested by the Office Manager
Education and experience
- Ideally having previous experience in a Hospitality role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organisational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
