Salary: Up to £50000 plus other benefits and allowances (for example housing allowance, round trip ticket, work visa support, etc.
The Company
This is a newly established education group aiming to integrate the best practices and concepts from both Western and Chinese education sectors. They are looking for a Nursery Manager and a Deputy Nursery Manager to join them to set up the nursery in Shenzhen, China (a city located next to Hong Kong).
In this role you will help generate confidence and a love of learning into very young children, as well as familiarise them with English. This is a key role in the psychological well-being of young children and aims to give children a “head start” in their education.
Responsibilities
You will be working within an English-speaking team of educators looking after a small group of pre-schoolers.
- Monitor the delivery of rich play learning opportunities
- Ensure that the learning environment is exciting and stimulating
- Oversee a team of Nursery teachers to deliver exceptional care
- Help support the professional development of nursery staff
- Ensure the school environment meets Health & Safety standards
- Oversee hygiene standards and room preparation;
Requirements
- Fluent English
- Relevant nursery or pre-school education management experience
- Staff management background
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Deputy Manager role
