The Company

This is a newly established education group aiming to integrate the best practices and concepts from both Western and Chinese education sectors. They are looking for a Nursery Manager and a Deputy Nursery Manager to join them to set up the nursery in Shenzhen, China (a city located next to Hong Kong).

In this role you will help generate confidence and a love of learning into very young children, as well as familiarise them with English. This is a key role in the psychological well-being of young children and aims to give children a “head start” in their education.

You will be working within an English-speaking team of educators looking after a small group of pre-schoolers.

• Supervise messy play, crafts, cooking, reading and outdoor/physical pursuits.
• Plan, observe and keep records that inform parents about their child’s day. Work with any health and social care professionals, where necessary, and undertaking any relevant admin/paperwork
• Nurture, guide and assist in the classroom

• Ensure that the learning environment is exciting and stimulating
• Liaise with parents to provide updates on their children’s development
• Your time will be spent communicating in English with the children and providing an English speaking environment

Requirements

• Fluent English
• Fully DBS checked
• Previous relevant nursery or pre-school education experience
