The Role:

This is a key position for an experienced Accountant with a solid background gained in a large property company or accounting practice dealing with property clients. There are outstanding career opportunities for the right person as the company is expanding quickly and is managing global building projects that are soon to come to market. We are looking for someone who wishes to specialise in the property sector and who is looking to really develop their sector expertise, be a thought leader and to help this company innovate and stay ahead of other property investment firms in terms of finding creative solutions to property-related legal issues.

Responsibilities:

You will be working in a multinational and multilingual team of property accountants and this role is viewed as a key position in UK accounting.

• Prepare group consolidated financial statements
• Review and record invoices against PO’s or contracts
• Processing a high number of invoices on a monthly basis across various currencies
• Liaise with suppliers
• Some credit control
• There will be daily use of SAP
• Calculation of VAT, PAYE dealing with mixed currency inter-subsidiary loans
• Review bank statements and the sales ledger

Requirements:

• Property sector experience is essential
• ACCA/CIMA fully or part qualified in the UK (ideally)
• Accounting experience
• Fluent English
• SAP experience
