Title: Chinese Speaking Mortgage Advisor Assistant
Salary: Basic salary up to £30,000 depending on experience
Location: Central London

The Company
Our client is an international financial services and property asset company. They look after the wealth of private clients looking to make key investments globally, mainly within the property sector. Their Chinese team is expanding, and they are now looking for a motivated and organised Assistant Mortgage Advisor to support their growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who is seeking to further develop their career in mortgage.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Mortgage Team and their Chinese speaking clients
• Process of mortgage documentation
• Liaise and follow up directly with Chinese speaking clients (phone, WeChat and email) to ensure they are informed of the status of their deals and requests
• Conduct due diligence
• Assist with reporting and presentations
• Translate legal documents from Mandarin to English and from English to Mandarin
• Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Head of China Desk

Requirements

• Previous admin experience within banking industry (ideally in mortgage desk environment)
• CeMAP qualification is a plus, but not necessary
• Fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Eligible to work in the UK permanently
