Job Title: Mandarin Speaking Business Development Manager

Salary: Basic up to £35K depending on experience plus commission

The Company:

This new way to experience school involves pupils experiencing a more immersive experience with the use of virtual reality headsets. The whole school classroom experience is being turned upside down with the help of cutting edge experiential technology. Use of tech in this creative way is one of the most radical changes to affect us all and will directly impact how the next generation learns. It also makes learning easier, more fun and far more engaging than traditional classroom-book classes.

You will join the Chinese team. This position involves selling this learning technology directly into the Chinese education system. Your target audience will be schools across Mainland China.

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with schools in China: Nurture existing relationships with schools and build new relationships.
• Liaise with Chinese Heads of Department and Head Teachers
• Pitch for business: demonstrate the technology face-to-face and also remotely
• Research competitor activity and become a thought leader and expert on changes within the education market
• Price Quotations: Negotiate prices
• Attend Events: Go to education related exhibitions and conferences where you will get the chance to meet Head Teachers and education experts

Requirements:

• You must have previous experience of selling a service or product directly into the education sector
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Eligible to work in the UK without restriction
