Our client is a leading organiser of public events and cover a wide range of sectors such as social housing, security, health, and public services. They are looking for driven, well-spoken professional to support with building the audience for a number of upcoming conferencing. The role will involve calling out to a list of carefully selected delegates and following up on their invitation to an industry conference. You should have previous telephone work experience ideally in telemarketing or outbound calls or specific experience in delegate sales, or audience development.

Summary of Role

• Using an existing database you will be making outbound calls to clients, informing them of the event that is taking place and inviting them to attend
  * This is a target environment as you will need to get through a large list of previous attendees, and target delegate lists prepared by the marketing team
  * Sending out event information
  * This is a B2B role
  * Negotiating prices and special deals
  * Use of email
  * Updating the database
  * Liaising with the marketing team

  Requirements

• Fluent in English Written and Spoken. Essential
• Interest or experience in corporate events, exhibitions, tradeshows
• Experience in making outbound calls (telesales, events/conferences) desirable
• Excellent communication skills, and professional phone manner (You will be communicating with senior public sector organisations leaders)
