Accounting Assistant
My client, who is a world-renowned giant is seeking a dedicated Accounting Assistant to join their leading global e-commerce hub’s UK finance team. This role involves managing end-to-end payment processes, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, all while adhering to internal policies and external contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboard new partners, upload rate cards, and resolve issues related to missed payments and invoicing.
Verify invoice details, address queries, and support timely payment processing for single-site partners.
Onboard and train partners to use Payee Central effectively, providing ongoing support.
Review, approve, and reconcile invoices, coordinate payments, and resolve vendor queries.
Generate comprehensive financial reports, addressing requests from internal and external stakeholders.
Utilize advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and Salesforce to monitor and analyse performance.
Requirements:
Experience in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of invoicing and payment processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Salesforce.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and support partners.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
