DUTCH speaking Food QA Manager

This role is based in The Hague in HOLLAND. If you speak fluent DUTCH & ENGLISH and have a QA background within Food services , then this is a lovely opportunity to join a growing specialist food business that imports into the UK, EU and Holland globally. This is a KEY appointment and you must have a detailed knowledge of all the food hygiene and regulations that impact all food manufacturing. Salary : Eu 80,000-Eu90,000 + 2 annual bonus’s

Essential background: Food manufacturing and catering services industry
Company details: This is a well-established food import/export business that specialises in importing specialist high quality food products globally, and supplies supermarkets and restaurants directly . The company has gone through a recent explosion in growth because of the increased interest in home-cooking that started during Covid and has continued to grow at a fast pace. Restaurants and patrons are now experimenting with new flavours and new dishes, following chefs on Instagram etc and as a result of this, the company has been able to expand strongly in order to accommodate increasingly sophisticated international dishes .

DUTIES: ensuring food products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the supply chain. This is a key role that will protect brand reputation
1. Food Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, FDA, EFSA, ISO 22000, BRCGS).
• Conduct food safety audits and risk assessments across production, storage, and distribution. Maintain documentation

2. Quality Control & Standards

• Develop and enforce quality control procedures for raw materials and finished products.
• Monitor product quality through inspections, sensory evaluations, and lab testing. Resolve complaints
• Work with suppliers to ensure consistent quality of ingredients and packaging.

3. 3. Supplier & Vendor Quality Management

• Evaluate and approve suppliers and manufacturers for quality assurance.
• Conduct supplier audits and ensure they meet required certifications and standards.

6. 6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Work with R&D teams to improve product quality and shelf-life.
